Introduction
Welcome to my AICE media studies blog!
The importance of studying media studies is that you can draw people in your age group by using so many different features such as things to help your work look interesting or presentable like Canva for an example, The importance of media studies could also be presenting your talents or work you created for many different age groups instead of just one. You can get your message through to the right people, for example you have Instagram which is a popular media platform a lot of people in my age group use for the same reasons. One reason is it tracks what we do to show us what is relevant to use and that's what keeps us so engaged spending hours and hours on their platforms. For me I use Instagram for inspiration which they show me exactly what I'm looking for and later on even give me stuff in my "for you page" that interests me to stay engaged and spend more than just a few hours on their platform. Three things I find interesting in Media Studies, first is we get the learn about why we stay so attached to these platforms to the point we have headaches. second is we ourselves learn how to draw people in our content by using many things to bright colors, pictures or even words used or word art like fonts. Third and last reason why I am interested in media studies is we get to learn the origin and why these platforms were made.
The type of media product I will be documenting on my blog is something I feel is relevant but not just to my audience but to me and what I feel like I can successfully entertain my audience. The type of film I would like to create is horror or a suspense type of film because I feel the audience I am trying to target leans more towards those types of genres, The purpose I would make a horror or suspense film is to keep my audience on their toes or to see more, I would need to do research on films related to my genre to create my film.
Four strategies or success skills I feel I need or use to create my film and my blogging journey is, one is I need to research and get inspiration on the type of genre of film I'm making, Second I feel like I need to stay consistence on what interests my audience, Third I need to decide everything I'm doing before actually doing it or come up with ideas first before actually going and making a film, And last fourth be neat and organized with not just my ideas but my film and make sure it's not going out of order or getting boring. These strategies will help me successfully complete my component one with a high score by following the rubric as is and the foundation of component one and making what I am presenting eye catching, neat and organized.
